You found the right one! From the moment we stepped in, my family felt like they were at home. The cabin was bigger than I originally expected, it has a big open living room to the kitchen which has a fireplace which was amazing for game nights. My little girls are inseparable which their bedroom was perfect they had 3 beds to choose from in their room, a tv, and plenty of games to play. My oldest child and her friend stayed across the hall which they had their own bathroom with shower which is amazing to any parent with daughters. My wife and I had amazing bedroom on the main floor with a clean upscale bathroom. The showers were almost as amazing as the view from the back deck. We will definitely be booking this again! There’s so much to do a short distance away from the cabin, we didn’t have enough time to check out even a 3rd of the surrounding business’. I would highly suggest searching the places around and deciding what you wanted to do beforehand because there’s so much to do!

My wife, 4 kids, and I stayed this weekend. We had an AMAZING time. The house was cozy and comfortable. We competed on their game systems and I dominated. (Lol). Seriously, a beautiful home with incredible views, and situated great to go to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Thank you for an incredible stay!

This place was beautiful! We held our Christmas here and we all had a blast. The kids enjoyed the games & the slide, and the adults were able to relax in the hot tub.

We had such a great experience! The cabin was amazing! The only thing I would say is be mindful of the steep driveway - you will be parking on a hill. It wasn’t bad for us - just listen to their listing when they say you need an AWD or 4WD vehicle. We would definitely stay at this cabin again!

This was one of the most beautiful places to stay! The location was perfect and the Host was so friendly and I would definitely stay with them again! I definitely recommend staying in any of the homes they host! Absolutely lovely!

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was the perfect spot for a peaceful, private, and memorable getaway. It feels tucked away and quiet, but still an easy drive to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, which was super convenient. The views were gorgeous, and the whole place had a cozy, relaxing vibe from the moment we arrived.
Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the amenities really make the experience — especially the outdoor space (fire pit, seating, and overall setup). The cabin is also fully stocked with anything you might need, and you can tell the hosts put real effort into making guests comfortable.

This has been one of the best cabins we have stayed at so far and we have been coming to gatlinburg yearly for nearly 20 years. There was so much space, bedding, and activities in the cabin to partake in. Hosts were super proactive and responsive. Will likely stay again!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week stay the Knotty Bear. It was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children, 10 and 5. The space was cozy and comfortable, but enough room for the kids to have their space, as well as the adults. The amenities were excellent and well used by all….hot tub, sauna, firepit, outside porch with sofa and TV, and game and bunk bed loft. The location was great for quick access to Pigeon Forge, as well as Gatlinburg. Any questions we had were immediately addressed by our excellent Host. The place was as described and easy to locate. Highly recommend this for families or anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains, but also with access to so many things to do and places to eat in town. We look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing stay!
I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, and all the little touches made the stay feel extra special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay! I would absolutely stay at a Knotty Retreat again 😊

I really enjoyed staying here for my 32nd birthday with my family. It had everything I need to relax. It was nice to escape the city life and relax with a hot tub a sauna. Plenty of games for me to play with my niece. A spacious kitchen for breakfast in the mornings. We would recommend this place to people in the future.
